It is common for individuals to have features of different body types (ectomorph, mesomorph and endomorph). The human body does not fall solely into one body type category.
In Fredrik’s case, he had long levers (for example, long arms) and had low body fat (some characteristics of an ectomorph). His build also had broad shoulders and waist, with hips that are not wide, that are features which are common in a mesomorph.
In 2014, Fredrik was training for his black belt in karate. His body fat percentage was 2% which is very low. Martial arts were an important part of Fredrik’s life and he has been training since a young age in Judo, Taekwondo, Kyu Shin Do and was currently practicing Wado (another style of karate).
Physical activity and fitness had always been significant in his life and Fredrik has also served in the Swedish military.
As a founder responsible for providing strategic direction, leadership and implementing his vision for the business globally, Fredrik has an executive career which carries high responsibility and demands a lot of energy.
Fredrik wanted to avail my services because he wanted to find new ways to push up from low energy to high continuous energy again.
My work with Fredrik is still ongoing, but with my customised training plan, we have focused on getting his strength and agility levels up. We also focused on his abdominal strength and to get his core to enable strength in his exercises.
The training focus has meant that Fredrik has more energy to enjoy the benefits of exercise and is able to bring that strength to his martial arts.
I have always led a regularly active lifestyle but in the last few years, my commitment to work has meant having less energy and just maintaining my physique rather than continuing to develop it. I have had several experienced trainers, especially in martial arts, and having been one myself, I believe I can judge and see the best in this field. My goal was to create more energy, build a stronger core and keep flexibility.
